A: The 5th APCRSHR will be held at Beijing International Convention Center on 18-20 October 2009. The Youth Day falls on 17 October 2009 when a series of events with the theme of adolescent’s reproductive health will be conducted.

3. Q: What are the rates of registration fee？
A: If you register before 31 August 2009, it will be US$300（RMB 2,000）for each conference participant, and US $150（RMB 1,000）for each accompanying person or student; if you register after 1 September 2009, it will be US $350（RMB 2,400）for each conference participant, and US $200（RMB 1,300）for each accompanying person or student. 4. Q: What is the registration fee for student and youth？
A: We have fully taken the particularity of student and youth into account. We have set lower rate for their registration, i.e. each student and youth will only have to pay a registration fee of $150（1,000RMB）if registering not later than 31 August 2009. Additionally, there are available scholarships for participants and youth. Student and youth are encouraged to apply for them.
5. Q: Is there any discount of registration fee for groups?
A: You can enjoy discount if your membership is more than 10. Please contact with China organizing committee for details.
6. Q: How to submit your abstracts？
A: Please submit your abstracts online after registration. Click http://www.5apcrshr.org/en/detail.aspx?articleid=090608203232747864 , fill in your name, organization, the title and abstract of your thesis (Chinese or English), then click "Paper submission" icon.
7. Q: Is there any limitation on the number of abstracts to be submitted by an author to 5th APCRSHR?
A: Yes. Each author is allowed to submit two abstracts at the most, only one of them can be used to apply for scholarship.
8. Q: What is the standard for submitting abstracts?
A: The abstract must be a completed or nearly completed research. The rationale, goals, objectives, and methodologies of the research need to be provided. Findings and conclusions should be substantiated with data; one third of the abstract should be devoted to study findings; another one third of the abstract must be experiences and lessons; Please submit abstracts and apply for scholarship online; The abstract must be written in less than 300 words in English or Chinese; The abstract should not have been published and should not have been presented at any international meetings prior to the 5th APCRSHR; Only the first author or responsible author is entitled to submit the abstract; Please type within the border lines; The body of the abstract should be typed single-spaces; Do not squeeze lines together; Do not use italics; Use Arabic numerals only; The Scientific and Scholarship Committee reserves the right to accept or reject the abstract to proper themes or tracks.
9. Q: What is the deadline for abstracts submission?
A: The deadline for abstracts submission is 15 July 2009.

11.Q：Whether the 5th APCRSHR provides the scholarship？
A：Yes. The abstract scholarships for participants who have submitted abstracts and youth scholarships for speaker youth/participants youth are also available.
12.Q：Could participants apply for abstract scholarship and youth scholarship at the same time？
A：Yes. Youth scholarships are different from abstract regular scholarships. For applicants who plan to apply youth scholarships should submit one abstract to the conference after registration online. The Scientific and Scholarship Committee are responsible to review candidate and propose the candidate for youth scholarships. The participants could apply for them but could be only awarded one type scholarship, either abstract regular one or youth one.
13.Q：How to apply for abstract scholarship? How many types of scholarships?
A：You could apply for abstract scholarship after abstract submission. There are two types of abstract scholarships, namely full scholarship and half scholarship. With full scholarship, registration will be waivered, and accommodation and travel expenses will be offered by the conference. There are also two types of half scholarships: one is waivered registration plus accommodation costs and the other is free registration only.
14.Q：How to apply for youth scholarship? What does it cover?
A：Please register at the conference website and log in, click the left column “Youth Scholarship Management” and download the application form. Complete the application form and email it to the Youth Committee at 5apcrshryouth@gmail.com before 31 July 2009. The full scholarship for speaker applicant and participant applicant will cover the following terms: (1) Accommodation for the 5 nights in Beijing; (2) Meals, including the breakfast at the hotel, lunch either in or out of the hotel; (3) An economy class air ticket to and from Beijing (lowest air fare available); (4) Local transport from Beijing International Airport to the hotel and back; (5) Conference Registration Fee; (6) Daily Allowance for 5 days.
15.Q：What are the criteria for candidates of youth scholarship?
A：Criteria for Speaker youth are as follows: (1) Young people who are under the age of 30; (2) Having completed the whole application form; (3) A letter of recommendation in English from speakers’ employer, service organization, support group or academic institution should be sent to Youth Committee; (4) Being working or a volunteer in SRHR issues either at a local, national, regional or international level; (5) Being interested in and able to share the experiences in the Capability Building Workshops; (6) Having submitted at least one abstract to the conference. If accepted as speakers, he/she should speak (give presentation or share experience) at one session on the youth forum during the Youth Day; (7) The abstracts to be submitted should be in line with the issues that the forum provided. But it is not restricted with the forum issues if one has gotten a better topic to support the forum; (8) Besides the youth forum, he/she should confirm the attendance for the entire duration of the conference from 18-20 October 2009; (9) It’s expected to submit a report after the conference on what he/she has learnt from the participation. It will be more appreciated if the report is written based on his/her follow-up work plans.
Criteria for participants youth are as follows: (1) Young people who are under the age of 24;(2) Having completed the whole application form;(3) A letter of recommendation in English from participant’s employer, service organization, support group or academic institution should be sent to the Scholarship Committee by mail separately;(4) Being working or a volunteer in SRHR field either at a local, national, regional or international level;(5) Besides the youth forum, participants should confirm the attendance for the entire duration of the conference;(6) It’s expected to submit a report after the conference on what he/she has learnt from the participation.
16. Q: How many concrete formats of sessions are there? How many sessions are there?
A: There are altogether 58 sessions including plenary sessions, symposium, parallel sessions, satellite sessions and capacity building workshops, etc. Among them, there are 3 plenary sessions, 7 symposium, 32 parallel sessions, 8 satellite sessions and 8 capacity building workshops.

18. Q: How to sponsor the 5th APCRSHR？
A: You may sponsor the 5th APCRSHR in the following five ways: (1)To sponsor conference: the sponsors will contribute to symposium and parallel sessions; (2) To organize satellite sessions: the sponsors needs to log on the 5th APCRSHR website to fill out the application form and submit a one-page concept note, the Scientific and Scholarship Committee will review it and notify the organizer; (3) To organize capacity building workshops: the sponsors needs to log on the 5th APCRSHR website to fill out the application form and submit a one-page concept note, the Scientific and Scholarship Committee will review it and notify the organizer; (4) To sponsor the events of Youth Day: contact the China Organizing Committee.
19. Q: How to organize a capacity building workshop（CBW）and satellite session（SS）？What is the cost, number of participants and time length of CBW and SS？
A: The application guide and application form has been released on the 5th APCRSHR website. Please log on www.5apcrshr.org to fill out the application form, and then email or fax it to the Chinese Organizing Committee. After the discussion of the Scientific and Scholarship Committee, the list of approved organizations will be released on the website. Both CBW and SS are in theater-style layout with a capacity of 40 and 80 persons respectively. Both are at 90 minutes. Please contact the China Organizing Committee for the cost. The deadline for application is 31 July, 2009.
20. Q: How to apply for an exhibition on the 5th APCRSHR? How large is the exhibition booth and how much is the cost? What is the deadline for exhibition application?
A: There is an application guide and application form on the 5th APCRSHR website. Please email or fax the completed form to the China Organizing Committee. Based on the principle of "first-come, first-served", exhibition booths will be allocated. Each booth is standard 3m×3m and will last 2.5 days. Please contact the Chinese Organizing Committee for the price. The deadline for application is 31 August 2009.

A: The conference will be held at Beijing International Convention Center （BICC）. There are different kinds of hotels around BICC in 5 minutes walk such as Crowne Plaza Parkview Wuzhou, Beijing North Star Continental Grand Hotel and Yayuncun Hotel. In addition, there are a number of other hotels nearby.
25. Q: How to apply for hosting the 6th APCRSHR?
A: The application guide and application form for hosting the 6th APCRSHR has been released on the website of the 5th APCRSHR.
