Note: Registration desk is only open for those participates who have already registered on-line, by fax or by emails. On-site registration will not be accepted. The possibilities of a long queue on the afternoon of 17 October and morning of 18 October are quite high. To avoid wasting of your precious time, the China Organizing Committee strongly suggests participants do registration as early as possible and bring necessary documents such as invitation, passport and copy of registration receipt (if any) to facilitate registration.

There are different kinds of hotels around BICC in 5 minutes walk. The China Organizing Committee has signed contracts with hotels nearby Crowne Plaza Parkview Wuzhou (5 star), Beijing North Star Continental Grand Hotel (4 star)Yayuncun Hotel (3 star) and Huiyuan Media Village(3 star). 6. Airport transfer

China Organizing Committee will not provide airport transfer service. It is very easy to take taxi at the airport, which takes about 30-45 minutes drive to the Hotel and costs about RMB100-150. 7. Insurance

Participants are advised to obtain insurance coverage, either at their own or at their organization’s expenses against costs arising out of sickness, accident (including the cost of medical attention), temporarily or permanent disability, third-party risks, covering the entire duration of the meeting and travel time. China Organizing Committee will not be responsible for shouldering such costs during the meetings.

 

8. Visa

For those participants who have paid for the registration fee, please download the Visa Info. Sheet from the website; fill in the required information and send back to contact persons at your earliest convenience. After that an invitation letter together with a visa authorization form will be sent to you to facilitate your visa application.

 

9. Conference Badge

China Organizing Committee is making conference badge for each participate. A color passport photo is a MUST for every single participant, without which there will be no access to the conference venue and lunches. The photo size shall be 48mm×33mm color photo with white background (preferred). Please send your appropriate photo to related contact persons before the conference and at your earliest convenience.

 

10. Currency and Exchange

The currency rate is 1 US$ = RMB 6.82 which fluctuates regularly and Cashing dollars in China is easy.

 

11. Weather

The temperature of China will vary during day and night during the time of the meetings. The lowest temperature may range from 6 – 8 deg Celsius and High temperature may range from 19 – 21 deg Celsius. Warm clothes are recommended during this period.

 

12. PPT and posters

For oral presenters at plenary, symposium, parallel sessions and satellite sessions, please send your PPT to related contact person (information in item 14) before 15 October. If you prefer to give your PPT during the conference, please submit to Secretariat one day before your presentation time, for example, if your presentation will be on 18 October, you need to present to Secretariat before 1700 on 17 October.

For poster presenters, you will be informed by the contact person of a poster board number. Please bring your poster 1 hour before the designated session time and work staff will help you to tape the poster.

 

13. Meeting Room Logistics

The meeting room will be equipped with data projector with dedicated Laptop, Screen, Overhead projector, and other commonly used stationery supplies. Simultaneous translation in Chinese, English and French will be arranged for the Opening Session, Plenary Sessions, some Symposium and Closing Session.
